When three Mistahs of the PMA Class of 92 Tanglaw Diwa were
invited to the Rizal Provincial Police Station to share their lives to the new
recruits of the Provincial Police Office, they made sure that this neophyte
policemen would not only be a born-hard warrior ready to serve their country
but also as a born-again believer willing to follow God’s sovereign will.
PSUPT Sidney Hernia, PSUPT Eric Noble and PSUPT Bernie Banac
took time off their busy schedule to meet Pastor Jim Delos Santos and
volunteers of the Bless Our Cops Movement in Rizal to share their lives and
testify of the Lord’s goodness in their lives.
PSUPT Sidney Hernia spoke on the manner of how a service
oriented policeman should regard their profession and how should a policeman
serve in light of the vileness that is around him.
PSUPT Bernie Banac taught the new cops of their
responsibility as a father and husband to their families. He declared that the
police service should not be a deterrent for someone to have a strong family
bond with their spouse and their kids.
PSSUPT Eric Noble shared how God blesses a God fearing
policeman: He recounted how God sustained his career and promoted him in his
faith. This was evident by the many acclaims that he has garnered in service.
He also added that a genuine relationship with God is the
key for success in the police service as he led the recruits to a prayer of
acceptance to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
