BOC4: All Aboard!

BOC4 Bus is has begun to rove and traipse its destined route. And along the stops that it has made a lot of key passengers have already came aboard.

BOC4 serves a vehicle for the CORPS Movement Foundation(a bus, if you will) to carry out the Great Commission to the entire Philippines. In doing so, BOC is expanding its scope not only to the Philippine National Police and the church but also to the community and country that they serve. Although the PNP will be its primary and distinctive clientele, this effort will also focus more of honing the church leaders and community stakeholders to partake in community outreach alongside the PNP and nation building in the long run.

The BOC4 is rising awareness and creating partnership in this endeavor looking for like minded Christian leaders (pastors and businessmen alike) to adapt a police station in their different locality. The movement then hopes that this partnership will be able to be translated in community programs wherein the communities around the police stations will also be blessed.

Among those already onboard, are members of Christ Commission Fellowhsip (CCF), Isabela lead by PSS Jun Borromeo, his classmate and CCF Isabela Elder Manny Salvador and Francis Aquino of DZAS Isabela who has committed to join and suppot the program by reaching out the police and communities of Alicia Isabela. Ptr Alvin Ang of CCF La Union who helped discpiled Col. Jun Borromeo during his time in La Union was also supportive of this initiative.

The partnership was started by a small breakfast fellowship at GCF Ortigas last July 5, 2011, wherein the CORPS invited the Leaders of the church to sit down and see the vision of reaching out the community by partnering with the PNP and use the police's network in the community to reach further and make an impact to society. Bro. Jun Borromeo who was part of the Church introduced the leaders of his church to the CORPS who could support and help him reach his home province for Christ.

The following week, BOC4 meet with the leadership of the Philippine Campus Crusade for Christ to discuss possible partnerships. BOC4 and Campus Crusade led by PCCC National Director Albert Talima and Community Ministry Head Tony Natividad talked about reaching out communities for Christ in the PNP. The talk was coordinated by former PCCC Director Henry Tan who was the mentor of Bro. Boi.

The group decided that both would partner and help each other to reach the PNP and its community for the Christ. They talked about programs and partnership wherein the Crusade could help raise disciples in the PNP for Christ. It was decided that the womens community group of Campus Crusade for Christ would be helping in the PNP General Hospital to journey with the younger hospital doctors of the PNP General Hospital. Those who headed the call were Janet Natividad, Adel Erpelo, Juliet Didulo and Beth Tampos.

The BOC4 group also meet up with the Ptr. Jim Tarog of the Taguig City Environment and Natural Resources office to coordinate with plans of running a citywide BOC4 campaign for Taguig.

The group will be begin to search businessmen and pastors with the heart for the PNP.
