International Delegates Learns from Philippine Police Ministry

Twenty years ago Ron Wilson and Bernabe Joel Manuel saw how God was mightily moving in the police and soldier of the Philippines particularly in a small bible-study group of young lieutenants and captains who was bent of putting God in Every Cop. The two missionaries who dedicated their time and resources in reaching out this particular group knew that in passing years the group’s influence would not only touch their organization but also other police and armed services in other parts of the world.

This year, another group of Indian missionaries and pastors as well as some Thai officers has gathered again to witness the small group of Philippine police officers to learn some more of their concepts and practices which they use in serving their organization and Christ as well.

The foreign delegates from Ron and Bernabe Joel group Armlynk International spent the whole week of March 3 to 11, 2012 to witness God’s goodness and grace in the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces. They first spent a morning of praise and worship with the cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy and observed the adoption of cadets at the Greenhills Christian Fellowship on their first day. They went over to Rizal Provincial Police Station the following day to observe how Pastor Jim Delos Santos adopted the Police Station of Rizal and how he leads them in morning prayer. The next day they observed the small prayer breakfasts in the different offices of Camp Crame and to notice how those small groups could someday also turn into another big movement among Christians. They wrapped up their visit with a two-day seminar national training with volunteers from the BOC4 Movement.

The group of missionaries from India led by Sam Abraham, George Abraham, Blesson Matthews, Madhavan and Viveknatha and the Thai officers Surasak, Jatarong and Cheerapon were extremely blessed by such endeavors.
